The Prompt Whiteboard macOS app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. Prompt text is not uploaded by the app.
The web version may use privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics to understand page visits and improve the site. These analytics are not used to sell personal data or track users across apps and websites.
The macOS app stores prompt drafts, UI preferences, recent template selections, recent external service shortcuts, and panel state locally on your Mac. This data stays on your device unless you choose to copy it, save it to a file, open an external AI service, or otherwise share it.
The browser version may store prompt drafts and preferences in your browser's local storage so the workspace can restore your current state.
When you open a text file in the macOS app, Prompt Whiteboard reads only the file you selected through the macOS file picker. When you save, the app writes only to the file location you choose.
The app writes prompt text to the clipboard only when you choose a copy or send action.
Prompt Whiteboard can open third-party AI websites in your browser. Those services are operated by their respective providers and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Prompt Whiteboard is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party AI service.
